THRACE. Maroneia. 1st century BC. (Bronze, 26.5 mm, 18.64 g, 1 h). Wreathed head of youthful Dionysos to right. Rev. Dionysos standing left, holding grapes in right hand and narthex stalks in left; to left, monogram of MAP. Schönert-Geiss 1354-1405. SNG Copenhagen 643. Tan patina. About very fine.
