KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great', 336-323 BC. Chalkous (Bronze, 11.5 mm, 1.29 g, 4 h), uncertain mint in Macedon. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ between club and quiver. Price 267. SNG Alpha Bank 738-40 and 742-4. Dark green patina. Light scratches on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
