TROAS. Antandros. Circa 350-340 BC. (Bronze, 8 mm, 0.71 g, 3 h). Head of female (Artemis Astyrene?) to right. Rev. ANTAN Head of lion to right, slightly facing; below, uncertain control. Cf. SNG Ashmolean 1045 corr. (the obverse is described as Apollo, but the head is identical to that on our coin, and is clearly female; grape bunch below lion's head). Dark brown patina. Scattered pitting, otherwise, very fine.
