AYT K M AYP CEY AΛΕΖΑΝΔΡΟC Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust left, holding spear forward in right hand and shield decorated with coiled serpent on left arm. Rev. ΕΠ Μ ΑΥΡ ΦΡΟΝΤΩΝΟC ΚΑΙ ΑΙΛ ΦΗCΤΗC /ΒΥΖΑΝΤΙ/ΝΩΝ Emperor in slow quadriga right, holding scepter in right hand and aphlaston in left, being crowned by Nike standing behind him. Schönert-Geiss, Byzantion 1741 (V206/R396); Varbanov 1915 (R8). Nice wide borders. Gently smoothed in areas, otherwise, very fine.
