IONIA. Smyrna. Nero, 54-68. (Bronze, 18 mm, 4.59 g, 6 h), struck under the strategos Klaros. ΝEΡΩΝΑ ΣΕΒΑΣΤΟΝ Bare head of Nero to right. Rev. CΤΡΑΤΗΓΟC ΚΛΑΡΟC ΖΜΥΡΝΑΙΩΝ River-god reclining left, holding reed in right hand and cornucopiae in left. Klose XXXII B 61-2. RPC 2484. Greenish-brown patina with light earthen deposits. Good very fine.
