ATTICA, Athens. Circa 465/2-454 BC. AR Tetradrachm (23mm, 16.25 g, 7h). Transitional issue. Helmeted head of Athena right / Owl standing right, head facing, with spread tail feathers; olive sprig and crescent behind; all within incuse square. Starr Group V.B (unlisted dies); SNG Copenhagen –; SNG Berry 647–8. Good VF, toned, slight roughness, smoothing on obverse.
