BAKTRIA, Indo-Greek Kingdom. Menander I Soter. Circa 155-130 BC. AR Drachm (18mm, 2.43 g, 12h). Diademed and draped bust right, wearing crested helmet with bull's horn and ear / Athena Alkidemos advancing left, shield decorated with aegis over arm, hurling thunderbolt; monogram to right. Bopearachchi 16I; SNG ANS 879-92. VF, toned with some horn silver, a few scratches. Well centered obverse with a sharp portrait.
