Fancy jasper seal. Sasanian, AD 224–651. 'O type' stamp seal with large central piercing. On face, Gopatsah kneeling right, head to right, with wings raised. Inscription in Pahlavi around. Dimensions: 18x16mm. Göbl pl. 23, III, Fabeltiere 66a. Intact with minor incursions to edge, otherwise in good condition.
