MYSIA. Parion. Circa 350-300 BC. AE (Bronze, 19 mm, 4.81 g, 12 h). Garlanded altar ornamented with a boukranion. Rev. ΠΑ-ΡΙ within olive wreath. Price & Trell, Coins and their Cities, p. 56, fig. 98. SNG Paris 1396. SNG Copenhagen -. A very interesting and unusual piece with a beautiful three-dimensional rendering of an altar. Somewhat smoothed, otherwise, good very fine.
