KINGS OF ARMENIA. Artaxias I, 190-160 BC. Chalkous (Bronze, 15 mm, 2.20 g, 11 h). 𐡌𐡋𐡁𐡏 - 𐡏𐡓𐡕𐡇𐡔𐡎𐡂 ('rthṣsy mlk' in Aramaic) Head of Artaxias I to right, bearded and wearing upright diademed bashlyk with three peaks. Rev. Bee. Kovacs 41. Rare and unusually attractive for the issue. Very fine.
