KINGS OF ARMENIA. Tigranes V, circa 6-12. Tetrachalkon (Bronze, 18 mm, 6.68 g, 1 h), Artagigarta (?). Draped bust of Tigranes V to right, wearing five-pointed tiara decorated with four eagles and tied with a diadem. Rev. BAΣΙΛEΩΣ / TIΓPANOY - [ME]ΓAΛO[Y] Herakles standing front, head to left, leaning right on club and holding lion's skin draped over his left arm. Kovacs 181. An exceptional example with a splendid portrait. The reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, good very fine.
