SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Seleukos II Kallinikos, 246-225 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 30 mm, 17.00 g, 1 h), Antiochia on the Orontes, after 244. Diademed head of Seleukos II to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩ[Σ] - ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ Apollo standing left, holding arrow in his right hand and leaning left on tripod surmounted by laurel wreath; in inner left field and to outer right, [monograms]. SC 689.2. Harshly cleaned and the reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
