SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Seleukos II Kallinikos, 246-225 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 17.08 g, 11 h), Antiochia on the Orontes, after 244. Diademed head of Seleukos II to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ Apollo standing left, holding arrow in his right hand and leaning left on tripod surmounted by laurel wreath; in inner left field, monogram. SC 869.4. Harshly cleaned and with two scratches on the reverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
