SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Seleukos II Kallinikos, 246-225 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 33 mm, 17.06 g, 12 h), Antiochia on the Orontes, after 244. Diademed head of Seleukos II to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ Apollo standing left, holding arrow in his right hand and leaning left on tripod surmounted by laurel wreath; in inner left field and to outer right, monograms. SC 689.1a. Struck on a broad flan. Two scratches on the obverse and the reverse somewhat double struck, otherwise, extremely fine.
