PHOENICIA. Arados. Circa 172/1-111/0 BC. Drachm (Subaeratus, 17 mm, 3.47 g, 12 h), a contemporary plated imitation, after 160 BC. Bee; to left, P; to right, Λ. Rev. APAΔIΩN Stag standing right; palm tree in background. Cf. Duyrat 2853-2866 and HGC 10, 63 (for prototype). Minor breaks in plating, otherwise, very fine.
