LOWER DANUBE. Uncertain tribe. 3rd century BC. Drachm (Silver, 15 mm, 3.00 g, 12 h), imitating Alexander III of Macedon. Head of Herakles to left, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. [...]ΛEΞΛNΛI[...] Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle standing right with closed wings in his right; to left, crescent; below throne, И. Cf. Price 1798 (for prototype). Very rare with head to left. Light marks and with a minor flan fault on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
