ARABIA, Northwestern. Lihyan (?). Circa 350-250 BC. 'Drachm' (Silver, 15 mm, 4.10 g, 6 h), imitating Athens. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet, 'O' on cheek (?). Rev. 𐡅𐡆𐡁𐡌‎ (?) ('wzbm' in Aramaic) Owl standing right, head facing. Huth -, cf. 35 (owl incuse, but comparable legend). Extremely rare and darkly toned. Very fine.
