KYRENAICA. Kyrene. Magas, as Ptolemaic Governor, circa 308-305 BC. Obol (Gold, 7 mm, 0.67 g, 4 h), Attic standard. Bearded head of Zeus Ammon to right, with ram's horn over his ear. Rev. Female head to right, wearing single pendant earring and necklace, and with her hair rolled up and bound at the top of her head; in field to left, ]. BMC -, cf. 215 (differing monogram on reverse). Naville -, cf. 233-4 (differing monogram on reverse). SNG Copenhagen -. Apparently unpublished with this monogram. Extremely fine.
