BAKTRIA, Greco-Baktrian Kingdom. Antimachos II, circa 174-165 BC. Drachm (Silver, 17 mm, 2.37 g, 11 h), Indian standard, uncertain mint in Paropamisadai or Gandhara. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΝΙΚΗΦΟΡΟΥ ΑΝΤΙΜΑΧΟΥ Nike advancing left, holding palm frond in her right hand and fillet in her left; before to left, monogram. Rev. 'Maharajasa jayadharasa Amtimakasa' (in Kharoshthi) Antimachos II on horseback to right. Bopearachchi série 1C. HGC 12, 124. Somewhat crystallized, otherwise, about very fine.
