INDIA, Pre-Mauryan (Deccan). Ashmaka Janapada. Circa 500-350 BC. 1/2 Karshapana (Silver, 17 mm, 1.48 g). Four punches: Elephant standing left, two triskeles with pellet between each arm, and the Ashmaka tree symbol. Rev. Blank. Rajgor -. Very rare. A particularly well struck and attractive example. Some marks, otherwise, extremely fine.
