[SEX•PO FO]STLVS She-wolf standing right, suckling Romulus and Remus; to left, shepherd Faustulus leaning right on staff; behind, ficus Ruminalis with one bird on trunk and two on upper branches; in exergue, ROMA. Babelon (Pompeia) 1. Crawford 235/1c. RBW 972. Sydenham 461a. Beautifully toned. The reverse struck slightly off center and with minor flan faults, otherwise, good very fine.
