NORTHWEST GAUL. Carnutes. Circa 50-30 BC. AE (Bronze, 17 mm, 3.00 g, 6 h). Celticized male head to right. Rev. Two eagles flying right, one larger than the other; pentagram above larger eagle's right wing; between eagles, cross with pellet in each quarter; to right, serpent. DT 2582-2583. LT 6088. Attractive lime green patina. Two scratches on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
