CAESAR Elephant walking right, trampling on horned serpent. Rev. Priestly implements: simpulum, aspergillum, securis with wolf's head at the top, and apex. Babelon (Julia) 9. Cohen 49. Crawford 443/1. CRI 9. RBW 1557. Sydenham 1006. A beautifully toned example with a particularly naturalistic rendering of an elephant. The reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
