Otho, 69. Denarius (Subaeratus, 18 mm, 3.17 g, 6 h), a contemporary plated imitation, irregular mint. IMP OTHO CAESAR A[...] Bare head of Otho to right. Rev. PONT [MAX] Jupiter seated on throne to right, holding patera in his right hand and scepter in his left. Cf. BMC 10, Cohen 8 and RIC 21 (for prototype). Some scratches and with minor breaks in plating, otherwise, good fine.
