Julia Domna, Augusta, 193-217. Antoninianus (Silver, 23 mm, 5.00 g, 1 h), Rome, 215-217. IVLIA PIA FELIX AVG Diademed and draped bust of Julia Domna set to right on crescent. Rev. LVNA LVCIFERA Luna, with crescent on head and fold of drapery floating around and above, driving fast biga to left. BMC 8. Cohen 106. RIC 379a. Lightly toned and with an excellent portrait. Very minor flan faults on the obverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
