LUCANIA. Thourioi. Circa 400-350 BC. Nomos (Silver, 22 mm, 7.55 g, 12 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned, on the bowl, with Skylla scanning. Rev. [ΘΟΥΡΙΩΝ] Bull butting right; in exergue, fish to right. HN Italy 1799. SNG ANS 996-9. Flan cracks and struck from a somewhat worn reverse die, otherwise, very fine.
