Laelianus, Romano-Gallic usurper, 269. Antoninianus (Silvered bronze, 22 mm, 3.12 g, 7 h), Cologne. IMP C LAELIANVS P F AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Laelianus to right. Rev. VICTORIA AVG Victory advancing right, holding wreath in her right hand and palm frond over her left shoulder. AGK (corr.) 1b. Cunetio 2500. Elmer 622. RIC 9. Rare. Light deposits and with a small flan crack, otherwise, good very fine.


This rare draped and cuirassed bust type was replaced shortly thereafter with one that was cuirassed only.
