LUCANIA. Velia. Circa 334-300 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 22 mm, 7.51 g, 3 h), Kleudoros Group. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned with a griffin. Rev. YEΛΗΤΩ[Ν] Lion walking left, below, monogram. HN Italy 1289. Williams 299 (O165/R230). Harshly cleaned and with a die break on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
