NORTHWEST GAUL. Coriosolites. Circa 100-50 BC. Stater (Billon, 23 mm, 7.00 g, 1 h), 'au nez pointé' type. Celticized male head to right, the hair in in large spiral curls and with an S-shaped ear. Rev. Celticized rider on horseback to right, holding long whip in his right hand; below, boar. DT 2340. LT 6598. Edge cracks and some roughness, otherwise, very fine.
