Wassiliou and Seibt reconstruct the career of Konstantinos Promoundenos, who is known from a relatively large number of seals dating from the 50s to the 70s of the 11th century. He held a number of provincial judicial posts (in Charsianon, Armeniakon, Boukellarion, Anatolikon and Thrakesion) and climbed the ladder of court ranks from hypatos at the start of his career to magistros, the latter being his highest attested rank.
