Gabriel, spatharokandidatos and chartoularios, 11th century. Seal (Lead, 24 mm, 12.75 g, 12 h). Nimbate bust of St. Gabriel (?) facing, holding scepter in his right hand and globe in his left. Rev. +APX R,Θ / TⲰ Δ૪ΛC / ΓARPIHΛ / CΠAΘ,ΔΔ / X,T૪Λ S M/T...A in six lines. Unpublished in the standard references. Pierced and with areas of weakness, otherwise, very fine.
