NORTHEAST GAUL. Bellovaci. Circa 60-30/25 BC. Stater (Gold, 15 mm, 5.73 g), 'à l'astre' type. Devolved and disjointed male head to right, with prominent nose, big eye and a star on the temple. Rev. Horse galloping right; above and below, radiant suns. DT 271. LT 7235. Scheers série 25, fig. 163 var. The obverse struck somewhat off center and with minor scuffs on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
