KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great', 336-323 BC. Drachm (Silver, 16 mm, 4.26 g, 5 h), Mylasa, circa 300. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. [A]ΛEΞANΔP[OY] Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle standing right with closed wings in his right; to left, monogram of ΩX; below throne, EY. Price 2479. The obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, about extremely fine.
