KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip III Arrhidaios, 323-317 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26 mm, 17.10 g, 2 h), Babylon II, struck under Seleukos I as satrap, circa 318/7-315. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. [Β]ΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle standing right with closed wings in his right; to left, monogram above grape bunch; below throne, Ζ. Price P155 ('Arados'). SC CAd43.13. Boldly struck in high relief. Some marks and with a scuff on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
