EPEIROS, Federal coinage (Epirote Republic). Circa 234/3-168 BC. AE (Bronze, 19 mm, 4.10 g, 6 h). Draped bust of Artemis to right, bow and quiver over her left shoulder, to left and right, monogram. Rev. ΑΠΕΙ-ΡΩΤΑΝ Spearhead; all within laurel wreath. Franke Serie 5. HGC 3, 181. Rare. Somewhat smoothed, otherwise, good very fine.
