Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet adorned with Pegasos and long tendril on the bowl. Rev. A-ΘE / ΘΕ-ΟΦΡ / ΣΩΤ / ΑΠΟ Owl standing facing on amphora; to left, thunderbolt; on amphora, H; all within laurel wreath. Thompson 411e. Very rare. Somewhat corroded and with minor deposits, otherwise, nearly very fine.
