ATTICA. Athens. Circa 165-42 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 32 mm, 16.65 g, 12 h), Mikion, Euryklei... and Euan..., magistrates, 124/3. Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet adorned with Pegasos and long tendril on the bowl, and with the foreparts of four horses above the visor. Rev. A-ΘE / ΜΙΚ-ΙΩΝ / ΕΥΡ-ΥΚΛΕΙ / EY/AN Owl standing facing on amphora; to right, the Dioskouroi standing facing; on amphora, H; in exergue, ME; all within laurel wreath. Thompson 483g. Light doubling, otherwise, about very fine.
