Caracalla, 198-217. As (Copper, 24 mm, 10.11 g, 7 h), Rome, 214. ANTONINVS PIVS AVG GERM Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Caracalla to right, seen from behind. Rev. P M TR P XVII IMP III COS IIII P P / S - C Victory standing front, head to left, holding trophy with both hands; at feet, suppliant kneeling to right, raising both hands in appeal. BMC -, cf. 269 (differing bust type). Cohen -, cf. 268 (differing bust type). RIC -, cf. 534 (differing bust type). Apparently unpublished with this bust type. Somewhat smoothed and with minor deposits, otherwise, good very fine.
