Hostilian, as Caesar, 250-251. Antoninianus (Silver, 24 mm, 3.70 g, 6 h), Antiochia, 250-251. C VAL HOST MES QVINTVS CAESAR Radiate and draped bust of Hostilian to right; below bust, •. Rev. ADVENTVS AVG Trajan Decius on horseback to left, raising his right hand in salute and holding scepter in his left. Cohen -, cf. 1 (differing obverse legend). RIC -, cf. 193 (differing obverse legend). Apparently unpublished save for its previous auction appearance. Slightly porous and with minor areas of weakness, otherwise, good very fine.
