Aemilian, 253. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 28 mm, 16.63 g, 11 h), Rome. [IMP] CAES AEMILIANVS [P F AVG] Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Aemilian to right, seen from behind. Rev. VIRTVS AVG / S - C Virtus standing front, head to left, placing her right foot on helmet, holding branch in her right hand and inverted spear in her left. Cohen 62. RIC 53. Very rare with this reverse type. Minor deposits, otherwise, very fine.
