Marius, Romano-Gallic usurper, 269. Antoninianus (Bronze, 20 mm, 2.36 g, 1 h), Cologne. IMP C M AVR MARIVS AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Marius to right. Rev. VICTORIA AVG Victory advancing right, holding wreath in her right hand and palm frond over her left shoulder. AGK (corr.) 6a. Cunetio 2507. Elmer 636 ('Treveri'). A beautiful piece with a very attractive portrait. Struck from a slightly worn reverse die, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
