Divus Claudius II Gothicus, died 270. Antoninianus (Silvered bronze, 21 mm, 2.95 g, 12 h), Siscia, struck under Aurelian, circa end 270-early 271. DIVO CLAVDIO Radiate and cuirassed bust of Divus Claudius II to right. Rev. CONSACRATIO / S Lighted altar, divided in four squares and with two horns on top. Cohen -. RIC -. RIC V online 1286. Venèra 10913. Very rare and unusually attractive. Minor flan fault on the obverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
