Probus, 276-282. Antoninianus (Silvered bronze, 24 mm, 4.09 g, 5 h), Rome, 278. IMP PROBVS AVG Radiate, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Probus to left, holding spear in his right hand and shield in his left. Rev. ADVENTVS AVG / R✱ζ Probus on horseback to left, raising his right hand in salute and holding long scepter in his left; to left on ground, bound captive seated left. Cohen 39. RIC 157. The reverse a bit weak, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
