Probus, 276-282. Antoninianus (Silvered bronze, 22 mm, 3.80 g, 7 h), Siscia, 279. IMP C PROBVS P F AVG Radiate and cuirassed bust of Probus to right. Rev. P M TRI P COS III P P / XXIQ Lion, radiate, advancing left, holding thunderbolt in his jaws. Alföldi 48/1. Cohen 457 corr. (reverse legend). RIC 616. A beautiful piece with a very attractive reverse. The obverse a bit weak and with light porosity, otherwise, extremely fine.
