China Hua-Hsing Commercial Bank 10 Yuan 1938 Pick J100a S/M#H184-14 PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. A pleasing and very rare note, not often encountered in any condition. Amazingly, this example has been plucked from a pack and saved for posterity. At the time of cataloging, this note is the single finest graded example of only nine currently graded by PMG. The Hua Hsing Commercial Bank issued notes for parts of 1939 and 1940, with notes backdated to 1938. Any note from this issuer is rare, as the Central Reserve Bank of China took over banknote operations in 1940, replacing these short lived notes.
