SASANIAN KINGS. Kavad I, First Reign. (488-497 AD). AR Drachm (4.11 gm; 27 mm). Sunrise 958var. Obverse, Kavad's bust turning right, reverse, fire altar with attendants in prayer mode, mint "AI" (Airan-Susa) on the right and king's name to the left. Excellent style. Choice Superb EF with some luster.
