ROMAN EMPIRE. Gordian III. 238-244 AD. AR Heavy Antoninianus (5.14 gm; 24 mm). Rome. Obv. IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust to right, seen from behind. Rev. LIBERALITAS AVG III, Liberalitas standing front, head turned left, holding abacus and cornucopiae. RIC 67; RSC 142. Well struck on a nice broad medallic flan. Well centered. Choice Good EF with some luster. Lightly toned.
