Panama, Colombia, Banco de Panama, 50 pesos, 18XX (ca. 1869), serial 0044, PCGS VG 8 details, very rare. SCWPM-S725; CHPM-7500. Incredibly rare note and the highest denomination made for this overall difficult Colombian bank located in Panama. With only 500 notes printed at the time, very few survivors exist today in any form. Though the underprint on this note is somewhat faded, much of the design is easily visible; some repairs were done along a fold line to the left of center where the C in Cantidad was also redrawn.
