Australia, Victoria (1837-1901), gold Half Sovereign, 1893, Melbourne Mint, jubilee head left, Latin legend reads VICTORIA DEI GRATIA, rev. crowned, quartered, and garnished shield of arms, with cross of crown touching border denticles surrounding BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF:, edge milled (Marsh 497; S.3881). Slightly worn and toned but fine example with some scratches, once cleaned, residual lustre remaining.

Calendar Year Mintage 110,024.

The obverse Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the Grace of God", reverse "Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith".
