MS66 | USA, silver Half Dollar, 1933, Denver Mint, Oregon Trail commemorative designed by Laura Gardin Fraser, full figure of a Native American in ceremonial headdress holding bow centre dividing UNITED STATES OF AMERICA in front of a map of the continental United States, the Oregon trail marked by miniature depictions of wagons moving west, denomination HALF DOLLAR below, rev. a covered wagon drawn by two oxen moving west towards large setting sun, motto IN GOD WE TRUST above round, inscription OREGON TRAIL MEMORIAL and date with 5 stars below (KM 159). Superb example with near full mint lustre, minor toning towards the top of the obverse. Very sought-after date, graded by NGC as MS66.
